Ninja May End up on YouTube or Facebook
Since the Mixer shutdown was announced, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has been streaming on YouTube, but he’s not currently looking to stay exclusive to the platform. Ninja is reportedly in talks with multiple livestreaming services such as YouTube and Facebook but he hasn’t signed an exclusivity deal as of now. Before the announcement of Mixer’s shutdown, Ninja was streaming exclusively on the Microsoft platform but now he’s looking for a new home. Ninja is continuing to stream Fortnite, which is available for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, PC and Mobile right now.
“Ninja is currently in negotiations with streaming platforms and no exclusive deal has yet been signed, including YouTube,” said esports consultant Rod “Slasher” Breslau “Today’s YouTube livestream from Ninja is all on his own. Maybe he’ll stream on Twitch too.” While it would be interesting to see Ninja return to Twitch, the platform he made his name famous on, he may become an exclusive feature to YouTube or Facebook considering how things went after he left Twitch.
When Ninja went to YouTube to stream some Fortnite, he was enthusiastic about the platform, claiming “this is lit!” Joining Ninja for some of his YouTube livestreams were other streamers known as TimTheTatMan, DrLupo and Courage, who are all familiar names to Fortnite fans. Ninja’s wife and manager Jessica Blevins recently teased that some kind of announcement may be coming soon but didn’t confirm which platform Ninja will end up on.
Ninja left his massive Twitch platform for an exclusive deal with Mixer and he left the Microsoft streaming service with a big bonus that he got to keep despite the shutdown of the platform. What platform do you expect to see Ninja stay on? Let us know in the comments below!
