Ninja Unveils “Ninja Battles” Fortnite Tournament

Ninja has officially started his “Ninja Battles” Fortnite tournament, which offers a prize pool of $80,000 across six events through the summer. The events have already started, with the first taking place on May 28th but there will be several more through June into July, so stay tuned. The online Fortnite invitational series will be fittingly hosted by Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and fans will have to tune into his Mixer channel to stay up to date. Fortnite is available for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and mobile right now.

Some of the 60 professional Fortnite players participating in the “Ninja Battles” tournament include: Nicholas “Nick Eh 30” Amyoony, Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf, and Soleil “Ewok” Wheeler. With a total of $480,000 dollars on the line, the stakes are pretty high. “Ninja Battles” Featuring Fortnite will include familiar commentary from “BallaTW” and “MonsterDface,” who are both known and experienced commentators in the Fortnite community. We’re looking forward to seeing how each of the events unfold from the gameplay to the commentary.

The next season of Fortnite is expected to release soon and Ninja is celebrating the end of this season with his big “Ninja Battles” tournament. While Ninja has been critical of chapter 2 so far, he may be swayed by the upcoming changes and this may be why he’s celebrating the end of the current season. With more “Ninja Battles” tournaments on the way, it’ll be interesting to see who wins each of the six events.

“I’m excited to announce Ninja Battles! An online Fortnite invitational series featuring six events across May – July, each with an $80,000 prize pool,” said Tyler “Ninja” Blevins on his official Twitter account.
