Ninja Has Become a Fortnite Skin

It’s About Time That Fortnite Has Immortalized Ninja

After building his brand by playing Epic’s battle royale Fortnite, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has finally been immortalized in the game. A new skin known as “Ninja Fortnite Skin” has released on Fortnite’s shop, allowing fans of Ninja from around the world to show their support for the popular content creator in-game. Epic Games has also announced more collaborations are coming, including possible skins for streamers like Loserfruit and TheGrefG. The new skin will be available on Fortnite for mobile, PC, Xbox One, PS4, the Nintendo Switch and Mac tonight and tomorrow, then it’s presumably gone.

“I’ve dreamt of having a skin in Fortnite since I started playing the game. Today, my dream becomes reality,” said Ninja on his official Twitter account after receiving the news from Epic Games. “Get the Ninja Fortnite Skin in the Epic store Thursday 6 p.m. CST-Sunday 7 p.m. Don’t forget to use code NINJA!” The new skin will cost around 1,500 V-Bucks as it includes a Ninja emote and Dual Katanas Pickaxe, and Ninja’s Edge Back Bling as well as the instantly recognizable likeness of Ninja.

One nice change for the Ninja Skin is the character can either show its face or cover it up with a face mask that shrouds his luminous eyes. The skin is part of the new Icon Series and more skins will likely join him as an Icon, although we can’t think of too many Fortnite gamers that are more iconic than Tyler Blevins. Ninja will likely be streaming the Epic battle royale tonight to show off the brand new skin as he streamed his reactions to it previously. The mostly blue skin also features a yellow headband which Ninja often wears during many streams and his familiar logo is included on his shoulders.
