Any good strategy requires a plan. What is a video game rollout if not a strategic endeavor? Especially when that game is the next installment of an award-winning series. Today, Blackbird Interactive and Gearbox Publishing are happy to unveil an early roadmap for the latest addition to their RTS series, Homeworld 3. A mix of free content and paid DLC, the roadmap gives players a slight glimpse of what awaits them in the months after the game launches. Importantly, the roadmap allows players to see the mass of content that will be available for them as they explore and fight throughout the galaxy.Â
Homeworld 3 invites players to enter into an intergalactic mystery. Political tension holds the galaxy in suspense while, at the same time, called the Anomaly emerges causing the shutdown of the famous hyperspace gates. Importantly, the game reintroduces players to the iconic galaxy of the first two games. Of course, this also means players can expect to experience the tactical combat that the series is known for. In fact, now players can look forward to leading massive new battleships, squadrons of strike craft, and more. Of course, players will use these ships to engage in cinematic battles over ancient worlds fraught with alien ruins.
Importantly, Homeworld 3’s roadmap allows players to see everything coming for the game’s future. For instance, the roadmap includes new content for the War Games game mode, new factions, new challenges, new maps, and more.
Homeworld 3 is releasing on May 13th, 2024. It will be available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
