Cyberpunk 2077 Modding Tools Available Now
CD Projekt RED has officially released the official Cyberpunk 2077 modding tools to the game’s official website, allowing gamers unlimited freedom to modding their futuristic RPG. While Cyberpunk 2077 hasn’t been fully fixed through the latest updates, dedicated players may be able to fix their own issues. The tools will apparently continue to get updated alongside the game in order to ensure full compatibility. Cyberpunk 2077 is available right now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Google Stadia, and PC.
While the latest Cyberpunk 2077 update brings its own issues, there were several fixes to the game ahead of the recent release of the mod tools. Without the mods, developers have fixed some of the game’s biggest issues, restored the lighting system, added permanent companions, and more. The mod support for Cyberpunk 2077 will not only help fix these bugs and performance issues, but it will lead to a lot of fun things being created that change up the game in fun new ways akin to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
“We are focused on fixing the bugs and crashes players are experiencing across every platform,” said CDPR in an official statement about the mod support. “You can expect more in the way of patches, both small and large, to be released regularly. The first update will drop in the next 10 days, and it will be followed by a larger, more significant update, in the weeks after. Our plans for supporting Cyberpunk 2077 in the long-term are unchanged, and we will continue to introduce updates and patches to give all players across all consoles and PCs a better experience with the game.”
