Soma is a survival horror game developed by Frictional Games and it it takes place in a mysterious underwater research with machinery that begins to take on human characteristics. facility. Gamers play as Simon Jarrett who is inadvertently forced into uncovering its past, while trying to make sense of his predicament and potential future.
Costume Quest is developed by Double Fine and it’s a quirky RPG that follows three children on Halloween who are trying to save their town from Grubbins who are stealing all the candy. The coming of age story will appeal to multiple generations and it features many Halloween costumes to wear as you roam the streets of their neighborhood. The game features turn-based battle mechanics with some moves including quick time events. The gameplay and cute visuals combine for an experience that feels like it’s over quicker than it actually is.
