Doctor Strange Could Be Coming to Fortnite Soon
A new Fortnite data mine may have revealed the next collab for the game. According to longtime data miners, Marvel’s Doctor Strange is coming to the battle royale game. With their reliable track record when it comes to their leaked gaming information, fans feel inclined to believe them.
“Sources told me weeks ago that Doctor Strange will be the next Marvel collab,” the data miner wrote on social media. “Season 2 is going to be amazing, everyone.”
Unfortunately, details regarding this potential Fortnite-Marvel collab are scarce. However, fans are expecting that Doctor Strange’s entry into the franchise will come with a top tier battle skin. After all, Spider-Man had the same treatment in Season 1 of Chapter 3. Plus, fans also think that Doctor Strange’s Cloak of Levitation will also make for a fun glider.
Furthermore, Spider-Man’s collab with Fortnite was released as part of the promotion for Spider-Man: No Way Home. With that said, the May 6 theatrical release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness makes it the perfect time for a collaboration.
Fans of the battle royale franchise are well aware that devs usually drop collaborations right before movie releases. This is the approach that they took with Spider-Man, Black Widow, and Shang Chi. With Doctor Strange’s next blockbuster due for release in May, fans may see the Fortnite collab drop around the same period.
Fortnite fans have been clamoring for a Doctor Strange skin. Many of them have even created their own concept art for the Marvel character. “Dormammu, I have come to bargain,” one fan wrote. “Get the Doctor Strange skin in the item shop now!”
The Fortnite team has always had a great relationship with Marvel. After all, many of the latter’s most beloved characters already made their debut as skins and bundles in the game.
