Spyro Burns Rubber in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Adds Spyro and Friends This Season

Accompanying every new Grand Prix season are several characters, one focused track and several challenges spread out throughout the game that reward players with Grand Prix points. Prior to Spyro & friends, other seasons have featured baby characters with a dinosaur-themed track and Tawna with an Egyptian-themed track, both featuring a number of customization options. The Spyro & Friends Grand Prix burns across the Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch copies of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled on August 30th. Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled

Gnasty Gnorc, Hunter and Spyro speed onto Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled with their familiar personalities and several new karts, stickers, decals and paintjobs among other new unlockables. New karts such as the Gnasty Ride and the Spyromobile are shown of in the season three trailer and new skins such as Dark Spyro and Gnome Velo give gamers more ways to customize their karting experience. The Spyro circuit takes inspiration from the Spyro the Dragon trilogy recently reignited on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC. Not only are the aesthetics of the track inspired by Spyro but the developers at Beenox integrate the gameplay itself with mechanics familiar to Spyro, transporting through portals and crushing treasure chests for Wumpa Fruit.

The Grand Prix season system is a great way to breathe life into the dated Crash Team Racing series unlike the loot box system that’s been adopted. It’s nice that Spyro and Crash grew up together in the late 1990’s on the Playstation and their stories come together again on the current generation to crush each other in kart racing competition.
