Xbox Holiday Gift Guide 2021
It’s that wonderful time of year again when folks will be holiday shopping for their Xbox-loving friends and family. If you’re a bit confused with what you should get them, your good friends at COGconnected have you covered. Xbox Series X
While it’s easy for me to recommend the Xbox Series X, I also understand that there are still some substantial stock shortages in the world, which could make it incredibly difficult to get your hands on an Xbox Series X. Fortunately, if your Xbox gamer is still playing on an Xbox One or Xbox One X, they should still have access to all the latest and greatest games, as most games feature a cross-generational option that allows you to play on either console. Nonetheless, if your favourite gamer doesn’t have an Xbox Series X yet and you can get your hands on one, that would be an unforgettable gift for anyone to receive.
Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma Controller
If you’re in the market to buy a new controller for your Xbox fan, then our first controller recommendation is the Wolverine V2 Chroma Controller by Razer. This wired controller is about $50 cheaper than the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller but has many of the same features and some cool RGB lighting effects. You can check out our review on it here.
Turtle Beach Recon Controller
Our second controller recommendation is the Recon Controller from Turtle Beach. This too is a wired controller and has some very unique features including two rear buttons that are incredibly comfortable, a handy collection of feature buttons near the top of the controller, and the useful Pro-Aim Focus Mode – perfect for FPS gamers. Thrustmaster T.Flight Full Kit X
This final accessory recommendation is for a very specific Xbox gamer. If you know someone who is obsessed with the latest Microsoft Flight Simulator, then this is the perfect (albeit pricey) addition to their game room. The T.Flight Full Kit X from Thrustmaster provides gamers with fully working rudder pedals, a flight stick, and a throttle. This amps the authenticity of flying to brand new heights.
