World of Horror Is Now Available on Steam

It Is Beyond Comprehension

Get ready for a spine-chilling experience. Developer Panstasz and publisher Ysbryd Games have launched their quiet and terrifying game World of Horror. It is now available worldwide on PC via Steam for a price of $14.99 USD. Moreover, the game has already been released on PS4 and Switch in Japan and it will arrive on Western consoles on 26 October.

World of Horror is a survival horror game and a terrifying 1-bit love letter to Junji Ito and H.P. Lovecraft. The Old Gods are reawakening, clawing their way back into a world spiraling into madness. Strange appearances and unexplainable phenomena are testing the sanity of residents in Shiokawa, Japan in hospitals. It is all over that place like abandoned classrooms, quiet apartments, and dark forests.

The end of the world is approaching slowly and the only way to stop is to confront the terror reigning over the apocalypse. Players will navigate this hellish place with a roguelite turn-based combat system. They will have to perform dark rituals, discover petrifying clues, and solve puzzles across randomized mysteries. However, they should be very careful though because all the choices have major consequences.

Here are some key features of the game:

– Choose from five unique characters and solve mysteries
– Unveil the fates of 14 unique playable characters, and choose your path through a pool of 20 dreadful investigations.
– Most mysteries harbor multiple endings – for those that survive long enough.
– A haunting chiptune soundtrack accentuates the game’s stark 1-bit art style, drawn 100% in MS Paint.
