Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines 2

Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines 2 is a sequel to the original 2004 game Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines. Ed Daly, Studio Director at The Chinese Room said, “Vampire: The Masquerade holds a special place in our hearts. The gritty setting of the game world, with its complex stories based on modern society, fits perfectly into our studio’s catalog,”

He added, “Bloodlines 2 is our most ambitious project to date. Fans of the series have been eagerly awaiting this game, and we’re up to the challenge. We’re bringing more than 15 years of award-winning experience to the project, creating a game that honors the legacy of its predecessor while bringing gameplay into the modern era.”

The Chinese Room is a British video game developer based in Brighton. They are famous for their exploration games, such as Dear Esther and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture. Dan Pinchbeck and Jessica Curry founded the company in 2007. It is named after John Searle’s Chinese room thought experiment. Their games have wonderful atmospheric visuals, immersive soundscapes, and thought-provoking narratives.

In 2018, Sumo Digital acquired The Chinese Room. The company continues to develop games that explore the intersection of narrative and technology. They have won BAFTA awards for Dear Esther and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and have also been nominated for several other awards.
