Deep Rock Galactic’s Season Two, Rival Escalation, Is Now Available
Ghost Ship Games and Coffee Stain Publishing launched Deep Rock Galactic in May 2020. Since then, the developers have released a ton of content for the title. Today, players will finally have access to Season Two, Rival Escalation, which introduces even more content. This season will be based upon Rivals who are seeking to disrupt mining operations. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One. It is currently 50% on Steam!
Players will be able to partake in the Season Event, Rival Signal. Here, players will be tasked with taking down and hacking into Rival communication equipment before the timer runs out and a massive explosion occurs. Furthermore, players will face various challenges from Rival presence including hordes of rival robots and new enemies. The Rivals have unleashed a new creature in the caves that are specifically meant to hunt and kill employees. Miners must bewae of the Rival Nemesis!
Furthermore, on PC, players will now have access to FSR and DLSS Support. This would result in better graphics and performance at higher resolutions, resulting in a smoother mining experience. Besides this, in Season Two, players will be able to utilize new weapons, forge mastery rewards and a new performance pass. The Performance Pass is free to access and provides players with various rewards for their accomplishments.
In Deep Rock Galactic, players will venture into procedurally generated caves as cool dwarves, armed with various weapons. The game offers solo or co-op gameplay!
