Destiny 2 Fans Think Raid Boss Rhulk Is Holding Back

Destiny 2 Fans Noticed Rhulk Wasn’t Fighting at Full Strength

Destiny 2’s Vow of the Disciple Raid has apparently broken the record for Bungie’s day one attempts. More than half a million gamers tried to complete the raid on its first day. This is an all-time high for the game. Clan Elysium has already won as as the world’s first to complete it.

We saw a record number of players attempting their blind runs, diving head-first into the fray without a guide or clear path in sight,” Bungie wrote. “To say that those that participated did an incredible job is an understatement.

However, multiple fans have observed that the climactic confrontation with raid boss Rhulk may have something more going on behind the scenes.

Multiple concept art can be found on Destiny 2’s community thread. It features a spread for Rhulk that shows the character going full melee, spears and other slashing weapons. Unfortunately, players have observed that this is not how the raid boss behaves within the game.

Apparently, Rhulk behaves with poise during fights. He casts high damage spells at the player, whilst floating about majestically. However, it is worth noting that Destiny 2 bosses traditionally evolves quite a lot from their concept stage to their final execution.

Cannot wait for him to pull out the martial arts in the rematch,” the Destiny 2 fan wrote.

There has been no news about a rework for the game in the near future. However, the fan’s comments are not entirely far-fetched. After all, Destiny 2 devs have always remastered raids. With that said, there is no reason to believe that the Vow of the Disciple raid is not going to get that same treatment. Fans might be able to see Rhulk fight with a little less composure should the devs decide to do a rework.
