Tormented Souls Previously on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S
Tormented Souls had previously had been released on the newer consoles of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC- meaning that those who had older consoles could not play the game for themselves. That is, until now.
The publishers of Tormented Souls, PQube, Dual Effect, and Abstract Digital Works have announced that Tormented Souls can now be played on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Moreover, the game will be available on Nintendo Switch on April 14th, 2022. This is great, especially for those who love going for speed runs. Because as part of the launch weekend, (Feb 25-27 2022), Twitch has a Speedrun Competition- seeing who can finish the game most quickly.
This does not seem like something that would be done for a game that gives off Silent Hill and Resident Evil atmosphere, but that’s what’s happening. And too, there is a competition and those who want to watch and for those who want to find out what the grand prize is can catch it on Twitch.
What’s more, those who want physical copies of the game can purchase boxed versions of Tormented Souls, and will obtain the exclusive Sun and Moon collectible coin that’s found within the game.
For those that are unfamiliar with Tormented Souls, the game starts with players playing Caroline Walker, who finds herself waking up in the middle of the night. What’s more, she’s nude, hooked up to old medical equipment, and alone inside an old mansion, and has the fight of her life in the isolated town of Winterlake. The game is filled with puzzles, warped reality, and a heck of a lot more, for those who are interested in a meld of two of the standouts of the survival horror genre.
