Ubisoft Officially Announces Anno 1800 For Next-Gen Consoles

Ubisoft is one of the biggest video game publishers and developers in the world. The company has various titles under its belt such as Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six Siege and Anno. Today, Ubisoft along with its developer, Ubisoft Blue Byte, have announced Anno 1800 Console Edition. This edition will release on Xbox One and PlayStation 5. Interested fans can get their hands on the game today on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Furthermore, a Luna version of the game is also in development.

The developers will provide more details on the upcoming Console Edition in 2023. However, interested fans can sign up for a technical test of the city-building strategy game that will be held in November on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Fans can sign up for the technical test here and must sign a ‘non disclosure agreement’ prior to being accepted.

Furthermore, in the game, players will head to the 19th century in a time of diplomacy, technological innovation, industrialization and much more. Additionally, since the game’s release, the developers have poured content into the game including various DLCs. Moreover, players will be able to prove their worth as a leader in Anno 1800 by creating cities, settling in new continents, going on expeditions and dominating opponents in warfare. There are endless options and possibilities. Also, players with access to the Season Pass and additional content have more options.
