One Piece Odyssey Gameplay Trailer Shows Off Combat and Much More
Bandai Namco Entertainment unveiled One Piece Odyssey to the joy of anime and manga fans around the world. The game is based upon one of the most popular series of all time, as Luffy and his crew hits the sea as pirates. Today, the company has unveiled a new, lengthy gameplay trailer showing off the game’s combat systems, field actions, side stories and much more. The game will launch on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 13th, 2023.
In the game, players hop into an RPG set in the One Piece world filled with monsters and characters from the great mind of Eiichiro Oda. Furthermore, the game’s soundtrack will be done by Motoi Sakuraba, a composer who previously worked on Dark Souls and Tales games. Furthermore, players as Monkey D. Luffy and other members of the Straw Hats were swallowed a huge storm at sea. Players then find themselves on a mysterious island where they must set out on a journey filled with strange locals and more.
Additionally, in the gameplay trailer, viewers get a first look at combat, field actions and much more through the city of Alabasta. Through the seven minute trailer, players can enjoy the scenic views of One Piece Odyssey as the characters navigate through the world, engage in dialogue with various persons and much more.
