Bioware Releases Small Updates for Upcoming Games

Looks Like There’s Word on Bioware’s Dragon Age 4, Mass Effect

There’s been a lot of talk about when Dragon Age 4 will be coming out, along with other projects. There’s been delays, silence, and really not much in the way of word of where the game has been in its creation- just that it’s still a work in progress.

Dragon Age 4 executive producer leaves bioware

It seems though, that Dragon Age 4 is still on track, despite various delays. According to Bioware studio, the game is currently in the middle of the production phase-which coincided with the announcement of Executive Producer Christian Dailey leaving Bioware.

Even with the loss of one of its leaders, the studio is quick to assure that the game is still going well. The blueprints have been done, and they are currently in pre-production, with the team focusing on “creating amazing environments, deep characters, strong gameplay, impactful writing, [and] emotional cinematics.

Currently, too, Bioware veterans production director Mac Walters, the game director Corrine Busche, and the director of product development Benoit Houle will be directors during the production phase, and will hopefully ensure that the Dragon Age 4 will continue on its schedule. So it is possible that the game will be coming out soon- through the dates and the release window are yet to be confirmed.

Mass Effect Andromeda feature

But wait, there’s more. There is also the news, from Bioware, that a new Mass Effect is currently being prototyped under Mike Gamble as project director. No news as to what the story will be, or how long we may have to wait- just that according to the official blog: “AAA next-gen games take a long time to make –” as well, “our Number One priority needs to be quality, and that simply takes time to get it right.

There are also future updates for their game Star Wars: The Old Republic, and there will be something in the future. However, there have been no definite release windows yet, and we will have to wait and see.
