Lost Ark Team Acknowledges EU Server at Capability

Europe Server Has Been Going Through Long Queues All This Week

Lost Ark, Amazon’s latest multiplayer, has been a popular game to go and play since it was released earlier this month. It hit a whopping half a million players on Steam in approximately three hours and has been going through its ups and downs since.

And one of the downs, for the Lost Ark is so popular, are the servers being at capability. In North America and in Europe, players have had to wait in a pretty long queue just for the chance to play. While there has been the creation of the Europe West region Server, the queue is still very long. But then, the team believed that this would “reduce, not eliminate, queue times for Europe Central.

It seems that the long wait is going to be the norm for Lost Ark. According to the Amazon team, and community manager TrevzorFTW , there can be no more expansion for servers due to how the servers are structured. “The Europe Central region is at capacity and unfortunately there is no way to increase the number of players per world in Europe Central,” said TrevzorFTW. “Adding more servers is not possible based on the complexity of all the systems that need to work together.

The next option for many would be to go with another region and onto another server. And while it is an option for the Asian server, particularly in Korea, it isn’t for the European Server. For those who are already in the European Central Server, can not go to the European Western Server at this time.

Therefore, unfortunately, it is not a viable option at this point for the western version,” wrote TrevzorFTW. “But we will not rest until we’ve exhausted all options.

So for now, for those who have not made progress, or are new to Lost Ark in Europe, this option is possible, and even a great option for a start over. However, for those who have sunk in too much time into the game, it may be best to stay where they are.

At least for now.
