Halo Infinite Lead Narrative Designer Leaves 343 to Join Riot Games

The team at 343 Industries is losing their Lead Narrative Designer, Aaron Linde, who had worked on Halo Infinite A tweet from Linde provides his departing message and some kind words for 343 and the game he considers one of his proudest achievements. 

“Bittersweet news to report: I’m departing 343 Industries to pursue a new opportunity in 2022.” Said the tweet from Linde. 

 

Linde’s Twitter bio now includes his new position of Senior Narrative Writer at Riot R&D. He worked for 343 since 2019 and, according to his Linkedin profile, “Led a small team of writers in the planning, development and execution of all open world narrative content in Halo Infinite.” 

As of right now, the project(s) Linde will work on at Riot are unknown, but his track record speaks for itself. From a lead writer at Gearbox Games to a senior writer at Bungie. From working on Battleborn to Destiny and then Halo Infinite. Whatever Linde is working on next at Riot will probably impress. 

“I want to thank my dear colleagues at 343 for making the best game I’ve ever worked on.” Said Linde in a tweet. 

In addition to the tweet about his leaving 343, Linde included a, humorous, video with subtitles set over an anime he titles Next Time on Aaron Linde. 

 

Overall, Linde is excited about his new position with Riot Games. Who knows what project we will get next.
