Learn More About Genshin Impact’s New Character Shenhe
Adding onto an already large cast of characters, Genshin Impact released several new character joining the fray in its latest update. Today, miHoYo released a new trailer featuring one of these new characters, Shenhe.
This new trailer focuses on Shenhe’s backstory. Opening with her awakening from a nightmare, it is clear Shenhe has a mysterious background, suffering from some sort of curse.
Shenhe is a disciple of the Liyue adeptus Cloud Retainer, and will also play a role in the region’s story. As hinted at in the trailer below, Shenhe can not have contact with others.
Shenhe is arriving to Genshin Impact alongside the Lantern Rite festival that is the star of massive Update 2.4. Titled Fleeting Colors of the Flight, the newest update to the game will also introduce the new Enkanomiya area. It is an underwater island that will require players to use an artificial sun to solve puzzles.
The game’s newest five star character is a much anticipated addition, being released alongside another character named Yun Jin.
Shenhe will be available when Genshin Impact’s Update 2.4 comes out on January 5 for mobile, PC, Switch and PlayStation. So players should make sure they update their game in the New Year to take advantage of these exciting new additions. Are you excited to play as Shenhe?
