Monster Hunter Rise Getting Themed Cafe

Capcom Cafe Converting Into Monster Hunter Cafe

Japanese gamers are already familiar with various game-themed cafes such as the Square Enix or Pokemon cafes, but Monster Hunter Rise will be getting a themed cafe. To celebrate the launch of the upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive Monster Hunter game, Capcom will be converting its cafe into a Monster Hunter-themed cafe towards the end of the month. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is available exclusively for Nintendo Switch right now, with Rise releasing on March 26th.

Gamers that visit the Capcom Cafe in Saitama, Japan on March 26th will be greeted by an entirely Monster Hunter-themed cafe rather than the traditional blend of various Capcom properties. With travel restrictions in place, it’s likely that only those living in Japan will be able to visit the Aeon Lake Town in Saitama location to see the themed set-up in person. These changes to the Capcom Cafe will run from March 26th until April 22nd.

Alongside Capcom’s announcement of the Monster Hunter Rise Cafe was an image that included NPCs from Monster Hunter Rise. The characters are shown munching on some popular Japanese snacks like rice balls and cakes. The characters are encompassed by various creatures from the Monster Hunter universe, suggesting that themed-food and themed-decorations will both be main staples of the freshly changed Capcom Cafe.
