GTA RP Gets Too Real for This Twitch Streamer

This Twitch Streamer Is Sick of GTA RP

Grand Theft Auto RP servers are among the reason GTA V continues to be such a beast in 2021, but it got too real for a Twitch streamer known as Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris. Sodapopping plays a variety of titles including World of Warcraft and Sea of Thieves, but it looks like GTA RP has become too much like real work for the streamer to continue playing. GTA V is available right now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC.

Sodapoppin recently announced his departure from GTA RP servers and that he would retire his longtime character, Kevin Whipaloo. Apparently working in GTA Online RP servers is becoming a bit too much like working in real life for Sodapoppin’s liking which sparked his departure. Working in GTA RP is starting to cut into the fun he was having in the game, causing him to quit. While there are jobs in RP games, it’s always important that gamers balance work and life as usual.

It was an actual job. It was brutal. It was ‘manager this, manager that,’ f****n employee this, cop problem that,” said Sodapoppin on a recent stream. “I can think of five scenarios I actually got to do whatever I felt like, and that was going on the alien hunt and the couple of times I got to go to the police station. But the only reason I got to go to the police station was because I told my managers, ‘Hey, handle it. Handle the shop while I’m gone.’”
