id Software’s Rage 2 Free on Epic Games Store Now
The Epic Games Store continues to roll out tons of great freebies, with the latest titles being Rage 2 and Absolute Drift. Considering Rage 2 was a significant step up from the original title, this is a great title to discover the franchise with. Rage 2 and Absolute Drift will be available for free on the Epic Games Store from February 18th until the 25th. Rage 2 is also available for Xbox One, PS4, and Google Stadia right now.
Rage 2 is an open-world with crazy vehicular mayhem where gamers travel across the unforgiving wasteland, defeating gangs along the way with the ultimate goal of taking down The Authority. We really enjoyed the combat and gameplay of Rage 2 when it released, while some of the missions felt repetitive and got old quickly. Are you curious about what else we thought about Rage 2? On the other side of the coin, Epic Games has released Absolute Drift on their PC storefront as the other free title, bringing some high octane racing to the current lineup. As the name suggests, drifting is a key aspect of Absolute Drift which is set in a minimalist world. The courses wind around mountainous areas, with some of the racers being ghosts of other players rather than simply AI drivers.
