Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Landing on Switch Soon
During the recent (and anticipated) Nintendo Direct, Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville was among several announced games coming to Nintendo Switch. Electronic Arts and PopCap Vancouver are bringing the latest Plants vs Zombies game to the Nintendo Switch officially on March 19th, leaving fans only a month to wait. Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is available right now for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville has been on Xbox One and PS4 since 2019, but Nintendo Switch fans will finally get their hands on this multiplayer game. Battle for Neighborville will include 12 prize maps hundreds of in-game cosmetics, and 23 customizable characters to choose between. Fans of Plants vs Zombies can play Battle for Neighborville offline, but the exciting multiplayer gets even more intense when the battle is taken online.
Nintendo Switch Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville fans will be getting the Complete Edition next month, meaning they won’t have to wait for drip-fed content like their Xbox and PlayStation counterparts.
“We are excited to bring everyone’s favorite Plants vs. Zombies characters to Nintendo Switch for the first time, giving players the ability to play in their homes or on the go, however they choose,” said PopCap Vancouver Producer Melvin Teo. “The Switch’s motion controls allow us to try a fresh new take on Neighborville, and with its docked and portable play, we have the ability to bring the game and its characters to life in ways that weren’t possible before.”
