Drop Into Rainbow Six Siege on Next-Gen
Rainbow Six Siege Year 5 Season 4 – Neon Dawn has officially released, bringing with it new content, lots of balance changes, and more. Alongside the new season is the next-gen update that Xbox Series X and PS5 owners have been waiting for. The release of Neon Dawn also includes a new story trailer that primarily focuses on the new operator, Aruni, as well as some characters who were already part of the Rainbow Six Siege roster. Rainbow Six Siege is available right now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
Joining the fight with Rainbow Six Siege Neon Dawn is a new operator known as Aruni. Aruni is a defender who can plant laser gates in doorways, on walls, over windows, etc. in order to eliminate any unsuspecting opponents that may pass through. According to the Neon Dawn story trailer, Aruni is from Thailand and her primary weapons are the P10 RONI and Mk 14 EBR. Aruni’s gadgets include Proximity Alarm and Barbed Wire to further cement her as a defense character.
Operation Neon Dawn reworks the Skyscraper map in Rainbow Six Siege to properly balance gameplay and enhance navigation. Operators can now rappel onto the roof of Skyscraper, and an interior room was added in order to provide a bridge between 2F House and 2F Restaurant. Some entryways have also been blocked on the newly designed Skyscraper and part of the balcony was removed in order to prevent attackers from camping outside and ruining the game for others.
