EA Play Joins the Game Pass Lineup
Microsoft and EA have officially teamed up to bring EA Play to Game Pass. Game Pass subscribers will gain access to the EA Play lineup at no additional cost this holiday season. EA Play includes a vast array of over sixty EA titles such as FIFA, Madden, Battlefield, and The Sims. It’s currently unknown whether the EA Play app will be part of the Game Pass Ultimate library to link the subscriptions together or if Game Pass subscribers will just be able to download the titles directly through the Game Pass library. EA Play joins Game Pass this holiday season around the same time Xbox Series X/S releases.
Game Pass continues to get improvements, with Project xCloud access coming soon, and EA Play joining the lineup just a bit later. Game Pass already has 100+ games, especially when considering the combined PC and Xbox lineups, and now EA Play will bring over 60 of the best EA titles to the subscription for no additional cost. With the Xbox Series X/S releasing soon, Game Pass is a no-brainer for people who adopt the next-gen Xbox console this holiday.
“This means Ultimate members can enjoy EA Play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Windows 10 PCs, and Xbox Game Pass for PC members get EA Play on Windows 10,” said Microsoft. Considering the fact that EA Play is joining all of the platforms Game Pass is available on, even PC gamers can reap the benefits of this collaboration. It’ll be interesting what the first EA Play new release will be the first to release after the service is officially added to Game Pass. EA Play was previously known as EA Access before a recent rebranding.
