Leaker Suggests Modern Warfare 3 Getting Remastered
According to a known Call of Duty leaker who leaked info on Modern Warfare 2 Remaster is now saying Modern Warfare 3 will be getting remastered as well. The title will apparently be exclusive for the PS4 for a month, with Sony and Activision continuing their timed exclusivity deal. TheGamingRevolution has gotten many Call of Duty rumors correct in the past and he’s considered a credible leaker for the series but still take this news with a grain of salt given the constantly changing climate. Modern Warfare 2 Remaster is exclusively available for PS4 right now, with a future PC and Xbox One release happening on April 30th.
TheGamingRevolution took to his YouTube channel to make the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Remastered announcement, claiming the campaign will be remastered similarly to Modern Warfare 2, but the multiplayer maps will likely end up on Modern Warfare. The timed exclusivity for Modern Warfare 2 has the PS4 as the only console to play it on for now but there are a few multiplayer maps from the game included in Modern Warfare’s multiplayer playlists.
Modern Warfare 2 is selling extremely well according to TheGamingRevolution and Activision doesn’t have a planned date to release Modern Warfare 3 Remastered but it’s practically guarenteed at this point. Considering his accuracy with previous leaks, including specific release dates, we consider TheGamingRevolution one of the more credible leakers out there. Considering the Modern Warfare 2 Remaster is selling better than Activision expected for the PS4, we can presume it will find success on PC and Xbox One when it releases there. We just want more maps from the multiplayer added to Modern Warfare playlists as soon as possible.
