Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Is Getting Anti-Cheat Updates
Ranked Play in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 rolled out earlier this week, but cheaters didn’t take long to cause problems. Players have voiced their frustration with the growing number of hackers in the mode, and Activision has responded. The company has confirmed that improvements to the game’s anti-cheat system are on the way to tackle the issue and enhance the experience for everyone.
The Ricochet anti-cheat system is active in Call of Duty’s Black Ops 6 and Warzone to keep gameplay fair. However, some players managed to bypass it and enter Ranked Play mode. Activision revealed that this issue was partly due to an outage that temporarily reduced the effectiveness of the AI tools used for cheat detection, allowing more cheaters to slip through the cracks.
