Activision Responds to Cheating in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Ranked Matches

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Is Getting Anti-Cheat Updates

Ranked Play in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 rolled out earlier this week, but cheaters didn’t take long to cause problems. Players have voiced their frustration with the growing number of hackers in the mode, and Activision has responded. The company has confirmed that improvements to the game’s anti-cheat system are on the way to tackle the issue and enhance the experience for everyone.

The Ricochet anti-cheat system is active in Call of Duty’s Black Ops 6 and Warzone to keep gameplay fair. However, some players managed to bypass it and enter Ranked Play mode. Activision revealed that this issue was partly due to an outage that temporarily reduced the effectiveness of the AI tools used for cheat detection, allowing more cheaters to slip through the cracks.

The publisher shared that the anti-cheat team is actively tackling the hacking issue in the game. They have resolved the outage and are taking new steps to combat cheating. These include closely monitoring suspicious accounts and speeding up replay reviews to catch unfair players.

Ranked Play offers a competitive experience modeled after the Call of Duty League’s official rules, maps, and modes. It’s the perfect way to experience the thrill of pro-level play. Check out the mode’s restrictions and find suggested load-outs to help you gear up. With any luck, cheaters will be dealt with swiftly.
