Sea of Thieves Update Revamps Sword Fighting

Crews of Rage Changes the Sword Fighting in Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves’ most recent update has revamped the sword fighting, changing how the melee combat in the game feels. Rare provided some minor details about the Crews of Rage update on Twitter before rolling it out this week for PC, Game Pass and Xbox One. Pirates will be able to purchase a potion at the Pirate Emporium in the new update to change their appearance, allowing gamers to utilize the character picking tool once again.

Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves originally released in March 2018 and since then, it’s been revamped several times, improving the experience and giving pirates more things to do. There have been additional raids, world bosses, companion pets, fishing and many other features and mechanics added to the game among the updates that have rolled out since launch. Rare has remained dedicated to the pirate simulator and the revamp on sword fighting as part of Crews of Rage continues that theme. A new chest was added to Sea of Thieves as part of the Crews of Rage update and it’s known as the Chest of Rage. The new chest will light your ship ablaze if it’s left unattended for too long, eventually sinking it. Rare recently took to Twitter to say, “Introducing Sea of Thieves News! Featuring details about next week’s content update, design insights behind the new Chest of Rage and an update on Stitcher Jim’s romantic movements from @Captain_Falcore, get ready to be buffeted by a dense wave of information!”
