Outer Wilds Releasing Next Week on PS4
Mobius Digital developed rogue-lite Outer Wilds is releasing on the PS4 on October 15th according to publisher Annapurna Interactive. The previously PC title was a one of a kind space exploration voyage with unique visuals and engaging gameplay and Mobius Digital brings that experience to the PS4 next week. Outer Wilds is currently available on the Xbox One and is currently exclusive to the Epic Games Store on PC.
Previously leaked by the Games Rating and Administration Committee of Korea who rated the Outer Wilds a little preemptively, the Mobius Digital is finally coming to the PS4. This move to the PS4 will expose the title to a new market, leading us to believe it may end up on the Nintendo Switch one day as well. After the leak, it seems Annapurna Interactive was ready to make the announcement with an unexpectedly soon release date.
Outer Wilds released exclusively for the Epic Games store in May and we loved the captivating and rich storyline and the physics of the universe Mobius Digital crafted. It’s be interesting to see if anyone looking for Outer Worlds buys Outer Wilds by accident and discovers one of their new favorite games out of the screw up, as Outer Worlds releases 10 days later on October 25th. We’re excited to see how the PlayStation community gravitates towards this space exploration adventure.
