Made in Russia
In the harsh wildlands of Russia, players need some reliable weaponry, and there’s hardly anything more reliable than a weapon you craft. In Metro: Exodus, players will have access to all manner of weapons, but 4A has gone that extra, body-ridden mile with customization.
In their latest video (available below), the devs highlight versatility in weapon management. Imagine a pistol that can convert into an SMG or a sniper rifle, or a welded shotgun with a mean recoil. Metro: Exodus uses the post-apocalypse to get creative with its weapon classes. Every player can salvage parts then build a deadly arsenal for their own playstyle. Everyone’s version of the ideal gun may change with every encounter, which is why customization has become a major factor of the experience.
Now’s also a great opportunity to get acquainted with the arsenal of Metro: Exodus. Players will find everything from anti-material rifles to crossbows. Some guns work in hairy situations, and special weapons work better for stealth. Heck, you can even craft ammo types for a special scenario. Since there are so many dynamic environments, the developer wanted to keep up in the weapons department, it seems.
Metro: Exodus launches for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 on February 15, 2019. Though it shall hit retail next to games like Far Cry: New Dawn and Crackdown 3, developer 4A Games said they’re not worried about sales performance. Will you be among their fans at launch? Comment down below.
