The Count (Dooku) Is Ready to Land in Star Wars Battlefront II

Geonosis Shrinks

Hello, everyone, it’s time for another Star Wars: Battlefront II update. Whatever the reception, wherever the journey leads, DICE has never skipped a content drop. So here we are, with a new hero in the intergalactic clone wars.

Star Wars Battlefront 2

Tomorrow, January 23rd, Darth Tyranus arrives and will be available for play in several maps. It will mark the pinnacle of the month-long event in which players enjoyed hefty XP bonuses. Bonuses will continue into Galactic Assault, where the Battle Point costs of era heroes will be discounted by 50%, while non-era heroes won’t be available. There’s hardly been a better time to partake in the war between droids and clones. In the middle of it all, we might expect Corey Burton, of Clone Wars fame, hurling dialogue alongside his lightsaber. Down the line, on January 30th, fans of the elder sith can look forward to the Dark Ritual alternative skin.

Once an apprentice of Master Yoda, Count Dooku turned against the Jedi Order with a thirst for more power, assuming his Sith identity of Darth Tyranus. As an experienced and skilled duelist, Count Dooku wields his signature red lightsaber emitting from a curved hilt, allowing him to fight with refined accuracy. His melee attacks are also highly lethal as he can deflect opposing lightsabers with great efficiency.

In addition, EA DICE will bring Geonosis to Heroes vs Villains, Blast, and Custom Arcade modes. The classic location has been playable in Galactic Assault, but a more compact version is coming. Stay tuned for post-January updates regarding Star Wars: Battlefront II.
