Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Infinity Ward is looking to bring the massive Call of Duty franchise back to basics with their latest take on Modern Warfare. Wanting to push the game towards a more tactical approach, 2019’s Call of Duty will feature more rewarding map exploration and a “realism” mode that will remove the HUD. This is also the first Call of Duty to feature cross-play, meaning players from PC and PlayStation will join in the madness!
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
The spiritual successor to Castlevania has arrived in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night! Set during the industrial revolution in 18th century England, you’ll hack, slash, shoot, and melee your way through an insane mixture of enemies. Made by Castlevania veterans, including series producer Koji Igarashi, this game is sure to be a blast for young and old gamers alike. Plus, it features Solid Snake himself, David Hayter. So go get it.
Madden 20
This year, EA Sports released the best version of console football we’ve seen this generation. Featuring a brand-new career mode that sees the player taking a college-level athlete all the way to the pros, as well as more engaging minute-to-minute gameplay than ever before, Madden 20 is sure to scratch the itch of the football fan in your life. How much do you want to bet I could throw a football over them mountains?
FIFA 20
If American Football doesn’t do it for you, then maybe FIFA 20 is what you’re looking for. EA continues its successful run of soccer games with Fifa 20, and it is better than ever. Looking to break the norm, FIFA 20 introduces ‘Volta Football,’ a take on street soccer that we’ve yet to see from the series, that encourages individual skill and independent play. Bringing back all of the fan-favorite modes from years prior, Fifa 20 is sure to impress come this holiday season.
