Top 10 Most Wanted Hyrule Warriors DLC Characters

2 – Wind Mage Vaati (Minish Cap / Four Swords / Four Swords Adventure)

Of the villains still missing from the Hyrule Warriors roster, Vaati is by far the most notable. Appearing in three titles (second only to Ganondorf/Ganons ten), Vaati has displayed an array of appearances over time with his most recognizable being that from the Minish Cap. His small stature is nothing to scoff at for inside lays a terrible monster.

This formidable Picori bends the powers of both wind and shadow to his will, as well as boasting some powerful transformative abilities. Whipping up tornados and creating shadowy claws to grab at unsuspecting victims is a mere taste of which what Vaati is capable. I doubt anyone who has played the games he stars in would disagree with me. On that note…Vaati will need a weapon. While it’s true that he doesn’t carry something to do physical damage, all a good Mage needs is the power hidden inside of his Circlet.

1 – The Sorcerous Sisters, Twinrova (Ocarina of Time / Majora’s Mask / Seasons / Ages)

Our number one pick is a character that has appeared not once, not twice, but four times over the span of the Legend of Zelda series. Twinrova is another character that falls into the bad guy but not THE bad guy category like Ikana, Byrne, and Scervo. Their role has differed slightly from title to title, but primarily they serve as Ganon’s right and left hands.

The sorcerous sisters Koume and Kotake weave powerful spells of fire and ice, and when threatened merge to become the mighty, and mildly sexual Twinrova. Having had a few appearances under their belt it would be a breeze to concoct an entire skill set for these witches. Fire, ice, witchcraft, potion brewing, and mind control are all examples of deeds done by this dastardly duo. But what about their weapons? I suppose some sort of broom would be the obvious choice, but that would only be appropriate when the two are separate. Instead I propose Twinrova have the option to use either the newly added Ice Rod, or the Fire rod which could be taken away from an overly cluttered Link.

And so concludes our top 10 picks for future Hyrule Warriors DLC characters. The Legend of Zelda is such a massive series with an even more massive cast of characters. It was truly difficult to pick just ten, but there are a number of notable mentions we’d like to toss in that almost made the list including Saria, Ralph, Maple, The Happy Mask Salesman, and Toon Zelda. What do you think? Who would you like to see added in the future? Do you even want to see more DLC, or would you prefer a full blown sequel? Only time will tell what the future has in store for Hyrule Warriors content and we’ll be following it every step of the way. Until then, happy grinding Hyrulians!
