Paul Sullivan (Content and Video Editor) and Nicholas Plouffe (Editor) – Bioshock
Paul: Probably the most atmospheric game from last gen, Bioshock was unabashedly story driven and diverged from the Call of Duty crowd boldly with methodical gameplay.
Nicholas: One of the best stories told in a First Person Shooter, and having plasmids in one hand and a gun in the other was an interesting concept at the time. The water effects were also revolutionary when BioShock launched.
Erin Soares (Content Editor) – Burnout Revenge
Being an avid PlayStation 2 player, one of my games of choice was definitely Burnout Revenge. When it came out for the Xbox 360, picking it up was an absolute no-brainer. While there was no further innovation on top of the original game, there were improved graphics and sound effects making the remaster even more fun.
