With the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Doom Eternal, people lined up to get their hands on a physical copy of the game worldwide. Normally, this is a reason to be celebrating a succeful launch of a game, but right now? It is utterly dangerous, selfish and irresponsible.
With the releases of the heavily anticipated Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Doom Eternal, GAME are forcing their stores to stay open during the COVID-19 crisis. If that wasn’t already unreasonable, they are giving orders for regular deep-cleaning of the surfaces of the store.
A couple of days ago, GameStop made a statement that they will be forcing stores to stay open during the COVID-19 shutdowns. Unsurprisingly, forcing their employees and franchise owners to work in these dangerous conditions were met with a fierce backlash from the public.
According to twitter user @Piece_of_Craft, a “nameless” company has put the stops to his fan-made Dreams creations about Mario. The fact that Nintendo still hasn’t learned how healthy fan-made content can be for any art form is absolutely baffling to me.
In response to Dolby Atmos’s exclusion from PS5, Mark Cerny answered that their new Tempest Engine could “hundreds of sources, not just the 32 that Dolby Atmos supports”. However, in truth, Dolby Atmos could always support more than 32 sources. Awkward.
