The Xbox Series X May Be Releasing This November
The release date for SEGA’s cross-generational Yakuza: Like a Dragon may have recently been leaked by a statement from their PR team. As part of the listing and previous confirmation that the title would be releasing in November and that it’s an Xbox Series X launch title, it looks like the leak confirms the release date for the Series X as well. According to the SEGA PR listing, both Yakuza: Like a Dragon and the Xbox Series X will be releasing on November 13th. Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be releasing for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, PC and the extensive Xbox Game Pass lineup this November and it will be an Xbox Series X launch title.
“Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be available in the West on Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, PlayStation 4, and Steam in November 2020 (Xbox Series X will release on day one of the console’s release date),” said the recent SEGA PR listing. The listing includes a release date for Yakuza: Like a Dragon of November 13th 2020, so if the game releases on that day and it’s an Xbox Series X launch title, the Series X will apparently also release that day.
“We are also excited to announce that Yakuza: Like a Dragon will support Xbox Series X Smart Delivery immediately on release, ensuring players only have to buy the game once and will be able to play it on either Xbox One or Xbox Series X when both the console and that version of the game are available,” continued the SEGA PR listing. “Cross-save functionality between Xbox One and Xbox Series X is also supported, so no matter when players decide to upgrade, they never have to start over from rock bottom.”
