You May Want Earplugs for this Destiny 2 Raid!
If you’ve been in the game long enough, you’re no stranger to bugs appearing in fresh releases. Bugs are unfortunate bits of code that decided not to play nice for whatever reason, and can affect anything from gameplay, to progression, to audio. They can be anything from a simple oversight to a rare game-breaking occurance – and in the case of Destiny 2, can damage your physical body. Keep your audio low for a certain mission, lest you risk the OOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGH coming to reap your soul.
No, really, turn your audio down for this. This is not a joke.
The video’s caption is particularly astute. “Woke me up real quick” indeed. If only the ooagh shared in this eloquence.
Bungie, the developers of Destiny 2, are aware of the issue. As of yet no fix has been deployed onto live servers, though the studio does recommend the tried and true method of “turn the volume down for the love of god”.
We’re aware of an issue where Golgoroth can sometimes produce an extremely loud roar in the King’s Fall raid.
It’s recommended to lower your audio output when fighting Golgoroth until a fix can be implemented.

At the very least, the community seems to be in high spirits about this. Pictures say a thousand words, and you’ll find discussion threads filled with delightful images of people and objects being absolutely decimated by loud sounds and high winds. Words need not accompany them – not after the grand scream has drowned them out.
