Destiny 2: Season of the Wish Launches Today With Exciting Features

Bungie has unveiled Destiny 2 Season of the Wish, marking the final chapter before The Final Shape’s launch. Continuing the saga of the hidden Ahamkara egg, players will bargain with the wish dragon, Riven, as part of Queen Mara Sov’s plan to confront the Witness within the Traveler. The season promises weekly story missions, the Riven’s Lair activity, the Fireteam Finder feature, the Citadel map’s return, a new dungeon, and more.

With The Final Shape set to launch on June 4, 2024, Bungie aims to enhance the Destiny 2 experience. During Season of the Wish’s second half, a two-month content update called Destiny 2: Into the Light.

Furthermore, Destiny 2 will join forces with CD PROJEKT RED, introducing armour ornaments inspired by Geralt of Rivia, the White Wolf. Guardians can embrace the monster slayer aesthetic with class-specific armour ornaments, a new Ghost, ship, Sparrow, emote, and finisher.

As the season unfolds, Bungie will beta test the Fireteam Finder feature starting November 30. Once fully released, this feature will simplify the process of finding fellow Guardians for group-based activities, fostering a collaborative gaming experience in raids, dungeons, Crucible matches, strikes, and more. Destiny 2’s Season of the Wish promises a thrilling narrative and exciting content, paving the way for The Final Shape’s epic conclusion.
