The Sonic franchise is getting a new mobile game. Fans found a job listing for the game that confirms Sega’s Hardlight studio is working on another mobile game for the series.

This new recruit will “be at the forefront” of their upcoming title. “You will help drive both the artistic vision and the internal art team to produce high quality art through effective communication, collaboration, detailed planning and active mentorship,” the listing continued. “You will be hands on creating highly compelling art work that meets the visual and technical requirements of the game whilst serving as the benchmark for artistic excellence and work ethic.”

The UK-based studio is the team behind six Sonic mobile games over the past 10 years. “You will understand the limitations of a mobile game but still push the quality towards console levels,” the listing added. “Being part of Sega, you enjoy and have experience in creating stylized art, exciting worlds and colorful characters.”

Earlier this year, Sega also launched Sonic Dash+ for Apple Arcade users. This is a redesigned version of the original title but without the microtransactions. This means that players will be able to add more characters to their rosters through gameplay and timed events.
