Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Trailers to be Revealed Tomorrow
A new trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is making a debut tomorrow. The Pokemon Company is doing the reveal on June 1st at 6am PDT on their official YouTube account.
“You read that right, Trainers,” devs wrote on social media. “Tune in to our YouTube channel at 6am PDT on June 1st for the latest on Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet!”
At the moment, the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet community have no information on what is making an appearance during the trailer reveal. However, they have had a lot of time to come up with speculations for Gen 9. After all, devs announced the two games earlier this year.
Moreover, this recent announcement did not entirely come as a surprise to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans. They were already expecting Nintendo to release some news soon because of a recent marketing push that seemed to hint at exactly that.
What fans do know right now is that water type Quaxly, grass type Sprigatito, and fire type Fuecoco are going to be the three starters in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Plus, it is also widely speculated that the upcoming title is primarily going to be open-world only. Fans believe that it will be pretty much like Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Still, a lot needs to be confirmed. This is considering that devs described the game as a “new evolutionary step” for the globally popular series.
According to earlier reports, the game may also take place in Spain. The game seems to have a sunny setting. In addition to that, the starters’ names are also a subtle reference to the region. Some sources have also claimed that there is a potential reference to the classic Spanish novel Don Quijote de la Mancha.
