Call of Duty League Schedule Changing Due to Extreme Weather

Countless Outages Spark Call of Duty League Schedule Change

Gamers who live across the central states of the United States are doubtlessly familiar with the extreme weather conditions they’ve been facing over the last few days, and it looks like the Call of Duty League is altering its schedule to accommodate these players. COD League was set to host another match tomorrow, but this match has been postponed due to the outages across the U.S. Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War is available right now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC.

“In light of Winter storms across the United States, we will not be hosting competition tomorrow,” said an official statement from Call of Duty League. “Tomorrow at 12 PM PT/3 PM ET we will share an exciting announcement about our revised schedule.” While the COD League has teased something happening in place of tomorrow’s competition, they have yet to confirm what will take that same time slot.

Many of us may not be aware, but extreme weather has taken out power, heat, etc. in several states in America, particularly Texas. Streamers such as SypherPK, Dreamcast Guy, and Reckful were impacted by these outages while gamers in the central states felt their pain. While some gamers are getting power and heating back in these affected regions, some remain without stable internet due to the complications power outages cause with modems and routers.
