Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War Joining Gamescom Opening Night Live
Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War was recently revealed as this year’s Call of Duty title and it will be joining the Gamescom Opening Night Live lineup. Geoff Keighley recently took to Twitter to confirm that the latest Call of Duty title will be receiving a world premiere new look at Gamescom Opening Night Live, which hopefully means some gameplay will be shown off. Gamescom Opening Night Live is quickly approaching as it airs this Thursday at 11 a.m. PST. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available right now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Activision and Treyarch recently revealed Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War with a teaser trailer that didn’t include any in-game footage or gameplay, but hopefully the world premiere at Gamescom Opening Night Live will give gamers an idea of what to expect from the next Call of Duty title. “Don’t miss a world premiere new look at Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War,” proclaimed Geoff Keighley on his official Twitter account. “Live during Gamescom Opening Night Live on Thursday at 8 pm CEST / 2 pm ET / 11 am PT.”
Fans of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare have been getting little teasers for the next Call of Duty title in the Warzone battle royale game mode for a while now, and the upcoming game will get a proper reveal in Warzone in the near future. Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War is being developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, and it may be rebooting the Black Ops series. Gamescom Opening Night Live will include around 38 games, with world premieres expected all night.
