Rumors Suggest Halo: Infinite Has a One Shot Camera
Halo: Infinite is making Halo more of a cinematic experience like God of War, apparently opting to use a one shot camera. These rumors originated on the Real Deal Xbox podcast, where they discussed certain design choices 343 Industries are implementing to make the gameplay and cutscenes more immersive. Developers behind Halo: Infinite may be trying to ensure that there are nearly zero cuts in the experience from start to finish. Halo: Infinite will be releasing later this year for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
More news on Halo: Infinite will be coming later this month, but for now the rumors about a one shot camera are the latest conversation starter as far as Halo is concerned. Many of the fans who took to ResetEra think that Halo: Infinite will share cinematic similarities with God of War and that it’s an attempt to feel immersive like some of the PlayStation exclusives. Halo 5: Guardians is the latest installment in the series but fans of the series were mostly underwhelmed with the campaign compared to classic Halo games.
When the Halo: Infinite Discover Hope trailer released, it suggested a cinematic experience, with a cut scene seamlessly transitioning into gameplay and these rumors suggest that this will be a recurring theme in the game. We’ll be trying the latest installment in the Halo franchise regardless of how the story is told, but a more cinematic experience would definitely improve the campaign from the last few titles.
