Resident Evil 3 Collector’s Edition Features a Slick Figure
Most Resident Evils fans by now have played the Resident Evil 3 remake, which was released on April 3, 2020. Just as they did with the Resident Evil 2 remake, Capcom absolutely nailed the Resident Evil 3 remake delivering an experience that felt familiar but fresh. As an added bonus, Resident Evil Resistance came with the game but that is a mostly forgettable experience and may actually end up on our worst games of 2020 so far list, which you can check out this weekend. Yet, Resistance doesn’t take away from how spectacular the Resident Evil 3 remake turned out.
When we reviewed the game earlier this year, our man Rhett, said: “If Capcom continues to push these remakes out with the care and quality of Resident Evil 2 and 3, then I can’t wait to see what we get in the future. While the game still stubbornly hangs on to a few of the original’s mechanical shortcomings, the vast majority of the package is a breathtaking recreation of material we fell in love with two decades ago. And I use the word ‘recreation’ lightly because, for all intents and purposes, this is an entirely new game doing its own thing, ready to terrify old and new players alike with its bag of tricks. The only question left is – Could this mean Resident Evil 4 is next?”
Recently COGconnected was provided with the Resident Evil 3 Collector’s Edition, and it is without question an impressive package. It is packed with a bevy of wicked items that are a must-have for Resident Evil fans. Or if you just love collecting slick figures. On top of getting a copy of the game, which by now you probably don’t need, you get a super high-quality Jill Valentine figure. It’s 11-inches tall and a well-crafted figure of Jill Valentine based on her latest in-game design from Resident Evil 3. It is absolutely stunning and would look brilliant in any display case or shelf.
In the Collectors Edition, you also get the “Project: N” & “Project: R” Art Book. It comes as a ‘classified file’ and contains photographs, reports, and documents of Raccoon City procured by Umbrella Corporation during their various experiments. You also get a Raccoon City Double-Sided Poster. One side depicts a Raccoon City map utilized by survivors during the zombie outbreak as a means of avoiding threats. The other side showcases a healthier side of Raccoon City before its outbreak with a collage of ads and placements citizens may have seen on a stroll across the city. Last but not least, you get a digital double album soundtrack, which is essentially a voucher code containing a double-album soundtrack filled with spooky tunes from both Resident Evil 3 and the multiplayer game Resident Evil Resistance.
