Ubisoft Forward Part 2 Coming Later This Year
Since holding their first fully digital conference, Ubisoft has confirmed that another Ubisoft Forward is being planned for later this year. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot teased the next event when closing out the last Ubisoft Forward and communications specialist at Ubisoft, Youssef Maguid, officially confirmed the next event will be happening later this year. The recent Ubisoft Forward showed off new games and content Ubisoft fans can look forward to such as the October 29th release date for Watch Dogs Legion, which will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and PC when it launches.
Any fans that felt the initially Ubisoft Forward event was missing something, they may expect to see what they were missing during the next digital conference. Youssef Maguid didn’t officially confirm a date for the second Ubisoft Forward, but we can expect one in the next few months leading to the release of the next-gen consoles. The big announcement of the most recent Ubisoft Forward was the reveal of Far Cry 6, but Watch Dogs Legion, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and more big Ubisoft titles were showcased as well.
All of the Ubisoft titles unveiled during the recent Ubisoft Forward event will support Xbox Smart Delivery for Xbox One fans who can’t wait to play the games but can wait to upgrade their console. They also confirmed free PS5 upgrades for players who buy the PS4 versions of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Far Cry 6, so the publisher is offering incentives to both communities of console gamers to buy this gen and continue playing next-gen.
