Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Includes New and Old Planets

Transition Seamlessly From New and Old Planets in Rift Apart

Insomniac Games is including plenty of new and old locations in their next-gen Ratchet & Clank title, Rift Apart. The returning planets will be different from their original version, giving fans a valid excuse to rediscover their favorite planets in new ways with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Insomniac recently took to their official Twitter page to announce several new details about Rift Apart, including the alternate dimension versions of gamers’ favorite Ratchet & Clank planets. While Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is expected later this year, gamers can check out Ratchet & Clank on the PS4 right now to get an idea of what to expect.

Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart

Like any other Insomniac Games Ratchet & Clank title, Rift Apart will feature a variety of new locations and planets to discover, but being able to rediscover previous locations is a nice touch from the next-gen Ratchet & Clank game. It’ll be interesting to see what ways Insomniac changes up planets from previous games and we’re curious whether or not any worlds before the re-imagining on the PS4 will be featured in the next-gen title. While Insomniac has confirmed some familiar planets to expect, we also hope to see some familiar faces in Rift Apart.

“Visit never-before-seen planets and see alternate dimension versions of old favorites,” proclaimed Insomniac Games on their official Twitter account. While this leaves a lot to the imagination, it won’t be long before we can get our hands on this next-gen Ratchet & Clank title. During the reveal trailer for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Insomniac Games teased an alternate, female Lombax interacting with Clank and the developers have confirmed that she will be a playable character somewhere along the campaign.
