Ghost of Tsushima Unveiled Gameplay During The Game Awards
During The Game Awards, Sucker Punch unveiled a gameplay trailer for the upcoming PlayStation exclusive, Ghost of Tsushima. The trailer focused on the protagonist, Jin Sakai, who showcases a number of his abilities and arsenal as he defends himself from soldiers. Ghost of Tsushima will be releasing for PS4 in Summer 2020 which means anywhere between June 21st to September 22nd and one of the rumored reasons the game’s release was pushed back is so that it could be part of the PS5 launch lineup.
The gameplay that Sucker Punch showed off in The Game Awards Ghost of Tsushima trailer teases the fluid combat of the game and several abilities gamers can expect to use in the battlefield. Jin Sakai is ambushed in the trailer where he has to defend itself so it’s likely that stealth is an important function of the game and that many of the battles gamers will encounter will be against multiple foes. The stunning visuals displayed in the trailer are among the best on the PS4 and it’s likely that Sucker Punch is pushing the limits of the technology on offer this generation. Apparently in the world of Ghost of Tsushima, the Ghost is part of the local folklore as they leave no survivors. “Some say he died on the beach, others say he is a storm made of flesh,” says the voice over for The Game Awards’ Ghost of Tsushima gameplay trailer. “When the wind thrashes their tents and boats, they know he is coming,” The samurai strikes out with spinning sword slashes that would make Link blush and throws sticky grenades that blow up his foes. Gamers can expect a large arsenal in Ghost of Tsushima.
