Xbox One and Nintendo Switch Getting Trover Saves the Universe
Trover Saves the Universe came out earlier this year for PS4 and PC with optional VR functionality and it will be coming to Xbox One on December 3rd and the Nintendo Switch on November 28th. Ricky and Morty fans will feel right at home with this game as Justin Roiland wrote and created the game with a similar style and his familiar voices. Gamers will take control of Trover as he saves the universe from an evil being who uses puppies for eyes and other weird foes. If you have a PS4 or PC and are a Rick and Morty fan, you already have access to this hilarious title so what the heck are you doing?
Trover Saves the Universe is a 3D platforming adventure from the mind of Justin Roiland, one of the creators of Rick and Morty and the game features a very familiar tone and style to the show. Though the PS4 and PC have access to VR functionality for this game, the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch won’t receive the same feature, unless it receives future Labo support. We found this game to be a fun, hilarious, entertaining ride from beginning to end. Are you curious what else we thought about this gem? Check out our review here!
Now that more platforms are getting Trover Saves the Universe, more Rick and Morty fans will be exposed to this new story with new characters created specifically for the game rather than making an expansive Rick and Morty Title. We appreciate the fact that developers at Squanch Games were able to translate the humor and psychedelic visuals of Rick and Morty into a new experience.
Are you a gamer who’s already tried Trover Saves the Universe on PC or PS4 or will you be getting into this new universe from the mind of Justin Roiland now that it’s releasing on Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch? Let us know in the comments below!
