Xbox Gives You and Your Friends Some Free Games for the Summer
The folks over at Xbox have pulled back the curtain on June’s free Games With Gold, and it looks like subscribers will have quite a bit to play with friends over the summer.
Starting on June 1st, subscribers will be able to pick up NHL 19 and the original cult-classic Portal. When June 16th rolls around, another cult-hit, Earth Defense Force 2017 will be available, as well as indie fighting game Rivals of Aether.
NHL 19 and Rivals of Aether are available natively on Xbox One, while Portal and Earth Defense Force 2017 are available via backwords compatibility. If you’ve yet to pick up this month’s offerings, you still have today and tomorrow!
In other recent Xbox One news, the brand’s Game Pass service will be making the official jump to PC, with more information set to drop at Microsoft’s E3 conference. Additionally, Microsoft is bringing a bunch of their exclusive titles to Steam later this year.
